Calypso Pizza Recipe

 



*This recipe was created for 4 and 24 servings. To adjust the serving quantity, enter a new yield (up to 1,000 servings) then click resize. As with any recipe, changing the quantity may affect flavor intensity. Please adjust ingredients according to your taste.

Ingredients Quantities Instructions
parbaked pizza crust - 12 inch 1/2 each Calypso Pizza: Place pizza crust on a pizza pan. Brush bottom of the crust liberally with Calypso Pizza Dough Marinade. Sprinkle with some cornmeal and turn over. Spread pizza sauce evenly on top and arrange Mozzarella cheese evenly on top of sauce. Arrange chicken in a circular arrangement on top of cheese. Visualize one slice of chicken per one slice serving of pizza. Drizzle top of pizza with more marinade for an extra burst of flavor. Place pizza in convection oven preheated to 375°F. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and beginning to turn golden brown. Remove pizza from oven and cool slightly. Cut each pizza into 8 slices for serving.

McCormick Calypso Pizza Dough Marinade (see recipe below), as needed
cornmeal, as needed
pizza sauce 1 1/2 oz
Mozzarella cheese 12 tbsp
chicken fajita strips 4 slices
pineapple chunks in juice, drained 6 pieces
red onion, chopped 1 tbsp
green bell pepper, chopped 1 tbsp
bacon, cooked, crumbled 1 tbsp
Caribbean Jerk Seasoning 2 1/2 tsp Calypso Pizza Dough Marinade: Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl; mix thoroughly

Roasted Garlic Flavored Oil (see recipe below) 2 2/3 tbsp
oil 2 2/3 tbsp Roasted Garlic Flavored Oil: Place ingredients in a sauce pan and warm oil to about 200°F. Remove from heat and let steep for 1 hour. Srain garlic using a kitchen sieve or cheesecloth. Store as you would normally store oils. Use as desired.

McCormick Roasted Garlic, Granulated Garlic, Minced Garlic, or California Style Garlic 1 tsp

Caribbean Jerk Seasoning 5 tbsp Calypso Pizza Dough Marinade: Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl; mix thoroughly
