Beef short ribs braised in a combination of beer and Cattlemen's® Kansas City Classic® BBQ Sauce and finished with Bing cherries.

  1. Season ribs lightly on all sides. Heat oil in heavy pan. Sear meat on all sides (except bone side).
  2. Add beer. Bring to a simmer. Add 1/2 cup Cattlemen's. Remove and place in 250°F oven for 4 hours until meat is fork tender.
  3. Allow meat to cool in sauce in a refrigerator until fat congeals on top. Remove fat. Remove meat and reduce sauce to 1 1/4 cup. Add remaining Cattlemen's and cherries. Return meat to sauce to reheat.

CHEF’s TIP!

Serve with garlic mashed potatoes or add a twist with polenta.


Substitute the cherries for apricots or figs.
