An Asian-inspired chicken pineapple and ginger pizza made with Cattlemen's® Kansas City Classic BBQ Sauce.
Ingredients Servings 4 8 24 48 80 100 Asian Pineapple BBQ Sauce | Serves 4 1 3/4 cups Cattlemens ® Kansas City Classic BBQ Sauce 2 tbsps Ginger, minced 2 tbsps Pineapple, 1/2" dice 2 tbsps Soy Sauce Asian BBQ Pizza | Serves 4 4 each Pizza Crust, 12", par-baked 2 cups Asian Pineapple BBQ Sauce 4 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded 1 pound Chicken Breast, grilled, 1" dice 3 cups Red Onion, julienne 2 cups Pineapple, 1/2" dice 1/2 cup Peanuts, chopped 1/4 cup Cilantro, chopped Procedure Asian Pineapple BBQ Sauce In a food processor combine BBQ sauce, ginger, pineapple, and soy sauce. Blend until smooth. Hold refrigerated for service.
Service Set oven to 400°F. For each serving, spread 1 pizza crust with 1/2 cup BBQ sauce, leaving 1/2" boarder along edge. Cover with 1 cup mozzarella cheese, 4 ounces chicken, 3/4 cup onions, 1/2 cup pineapples, and 2 tablespoons peanuts.
Bake until cheese is melted and crust is crisp.
Cut as desired and garnish with 1 tablespoon cilantro. Serve hot.
Toasted sesame seeds add a great nutty crunch and a nut free alternative to peanuts.
