An elegant beef tenderloin comes to life with a bold seasoning blend of McCormick Culinary® Peppercorn Melange, Italian Seasoning, Mediterranean Sea Salt, Garlic Powder and Ground Mustard. Spectacular presentation for large party special events and holidays. 

For the Tenderloin:

  1. Preheat oven to 450F.
  2. Coarsely crack or grind peppercorns. Mix in a bowl with remaining seasonings, salt and spices.
  3. Rub seasoning mixture over tenderloin.
  4. Place beef tenderloin on a rack on a sheet pan. Roast for 40 to 50 minutes until beef reaches the desired temperature. Check with a thermometer as instructed in chefs notes below.
  5. Remove from oven and allow to rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

CHEF’s TIP!

Check internal temperature of beef with a thermometer for desired doneness. For modern twist on the classic Au Poivre use the seasoning blend on grilled steaks, chicken and fish.
