Is your salad or sub sandwich looking for an Italian amore accent?!  Here at McCormick for Chefs we've created a dressing that has a pleasing level of heat, that's leveraged by the perennial popular flavor of Buffalo, that can used on any salad where a spicy twist is welcome, even on your signature Italian Hoagie or as a medium to mild wing glaze. Our Italian Buffalo Vinaigrette perfectly pairs with our Steakhouse Salad with Italian Buffalo Vinaigrette.

For the Italian Buffalo Vinaigrette:

  1. In a medium sized bowl, rehydrate garlic and herbs in white balsamic vinegar.
  2. Gradually whisk in oil until fully emulsified.
  3. Finally, whisk in Frank's RedHot Original Buffalo Wings Sauce.
  4. Hold refrigerated for service/use.

CHEF’s TIP!

This recipe is also nice with the pungent creaminess of blue cheese blended in, with the blue cheese assisting in the emulsification of the vinaigrette.

 
For a recipe with fresh herbs, replace 1 1/2 teaspoons of dried Italian Herbs with 2 teaspoons each of fresh Basil, Oregano and Rosemary. 

This recipe yields 1 1/4 cups or 10-1 ounce servings.
