Get the dippers ready. This creamy pistachio dip is layered with vibrant flavor, including warm Moroccan spices, charred scallions, citrusy lemon and cilantro. This recipe features our new Global Blends Moroccan Seasoning.
In a blender, add roasted nuts, Greek yogurt, scallions, cilantro, mint, lemon juice and zest, garlic, honey, Moroccan Seasoning and salt. Blend until pistachios are pureed.
Slowly drizzle in olive oil with blender on high until smooth and emulsified. Transfer to container, cover and refrigerate until service.
Set grill to medium high. For each serving, lightly toast one pita bread. Cut into eighths. Portion 1/2 cup of pistachio dip in desired bowl. Plate toasted pita points, and 4 sticks each of carrots, celery and red ball pepper. Serve alongside dip.
This dip can be used as a flavorful spread on sandwiches and wraps or thinned out with stock and used as a sauce for pasta or proteins.
