Recipe Details

Enjoyed chilled or warm, this simple, fragrant tea made with saffron, honey, ginger root and our Cooling Spice Blend is as aromatic as it is delicious. 

Prep

  1. In a saucepot, combine water, ginger root, mint, honey, lemon zest, Cooling Spice Blend, and saffron. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to steep for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Pass through a coffee filter or cheesecloth and allow to cool. Hold refrigerated for service.

Service

  1. For each serving, fill desired glass with ice. Top with 8 ounces of tea and garnish as desired.

CHEF’s TIP!

This tea can also be served warm.
