Enjoyed chilled or warm, this simple, fragrant tea made with saffron, honey, ginger root and our Cooling Spice Blend is as aromatic as it is delicious.
- In a saucepot, combine water, ginger root, mint, honey, lemon zest, Cooling Spice Blend, and saffron. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to steep for at least 10 minutes.
- Pass through a coffee filter or cheesecloth and allow to cool. Hold refrigerated for service.
- For each serving, fill desired glass with ice. Top with 8 ounces of tea and garnish as desired.
This tea can also be served warm.
