A wonderful semi-sweet mustard vinaigrette tossed with crunchy sauerkraut, bacon and Crispy Fried Onions served on a pretzel roll.

  1. Combine mustard, vinaigrette, and molasses. Hold refrigerated for service.
  2. Combine onions, bacon and sauerkraut. Toss with 1 cup dressing at service.
  3. To assemble, place one sausage on roll, top with 1 tablespoon of onion sauerkraut mix and bake in 375°F oven for 8-10 minutes or till sausage is warmed. Drizzle with 1/2 tsp. vinaigrette. Sprinkle with a few grains of salt and serve hot.

This relish of sauerkraut, bacon and French's® Crispy Fried Onions in mustard vinaigrette is also great on a bratwurst hoagie, deli ham and pastrami sandwich or with a little ham on a specialty burger.


To retain a nice crunchy texture in the relish, toss with vinaigrette as needed.
