A premium cheeseburger loaded with bacon and Mexican flavors from Cholula® Original Hot Sauce; featuring arbole and piquin peppers.

Service

  1. Set grill or flat top griddle to medium-high. For each serving, season 1 burger patty with 1 1/2 teaspoons Hamburger Seasoning and grill to desired doneness. Butter both sides of 1 bun with 1/2 teaspoon butter and grill until golden brown.
  2. Top patty with 1/4 cup crispy onions, drizzle with 2 tablespoons Cholula, and cheese. Place under cheese melter or broiler to melt the cheese.
  3. Plate bottom of bun and top with burger. Top with 3 halves of bacon. Serve open-faced with top bun dressed with 1 tablespoon mayonnaise, a lettuce leaf, tomato slice, 3 avocado slices, 2 onion rings, and 1 teaspoon chopped cilantro. Serve hot.

CHEF’s TIP!

This sandwich is also great with Cholula® Chipotle, Chili garlic, or Green Pepper

For a hotter version replace cheddar with pepper jack and replace the onions with French's® Crispy Jalapenos.
