Cattlemen’s® Carolina Tangy Gold BBQ™ Sauce is blended with char-roasted yellow pepper and a hint of Frank’s RedHot® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce to create a speed scratch version of this South American/Peruvian sauce.

  1. In a food processor combine peppers, Cattlemen's Gold, aji amarillo paste, and Frank's. Puree until smooth. Hold refrigerated for service. Heat as needed.


If aji amarillo paste is unavailable, increase the roasted yellow bell peppers to 1 cup. 

This sauce is great for Latino inspired pasta dishes, meatballs, smoked or braised chicken thighs, braised or slowly smoked meats like short ribs and pork shoulder.
