A steakhouse butter rich with the flavors of barbecue, caramelized onions and real bourbon.

  1. In a heavy bottom sauté pan melt first amount of butter. Add onions and caramelize. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  2. In a mixing bowl combine onions, softened butter, BBQ Sauce, peppadews and Smokehouse Rub. Whisk well to combine.
  3. Hold refrigerated, serve at an appropriate temperature for use.

CHEF’s TIP!

This compound butter can be wrapped in parchment, formed into a long, and sliced to use on steaks, chops, and burgers or piped as desired and used with bread service.
