A sweet, smoky, and tangy BBQ sauce featuring Cattlemen's® Carolina Tangy Gold and Smokehouse BBQ Rub.
- In a heavy bottom pan over low heat combine apricots and water. Simmer until most of the water is absorbed to hydrate apricots. Remove from heat.
- In a blender or food processor combine apricots with remaining water and seasoning. Puree until smooth.
- Add Carolina BBQ and Smokehouse Rub. Pulse until well blended. Hold refrigerated for prep or service.
Use this glaze on grilled or roasted salmon and pork.
For a spicy kick consider adding Frank's RedHot® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce.
