Recipe Details

This rich-and-chunky mustard spikes French's® Classic Yellow® Mustard with the craveable flavors of balsamic-caramelized Vidalia onions, dark brown sugar, garlic pepper and ground cayenne pepper.

  1. Sauté onions in butter over medium-low heat for 20 minutes or until golden and caramelized, stirring frequently.
  2. Add brown sugar, balsamic vinegar and garlic and pepper seasoning and stir to blend. Simmer for 1 minute, or until brown sugar has dissolved, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat; add yellow mustard and stir to blend. Season to taste with cayenne pepper.
  4. Cover and refrigerate to hold.
