Try this homemade Furikake Seasoning with dried shrimp powder to add a salty, savory and slightly sweet flavor to salads, rice, noodles, veggies, eggs and soups. It takes just five minutes to make with a few Japanese ingredients and McCormick Culinary® Sesame Seed and Ginger.


  1. Mix all ingredients in small bowl until well blended.
  2. Store in tightly covered jar in cool, dry place up to 1 month.


Nori are sheets of dried seaweed used as a wrap for sushi and a garnish for soups and noodles. Dried shrimp powder is made from ground dried shrimp.
