Recipe Details

Create craveable layers of flavor with harissa seasoning. This pilaf is the perfect vessel for the vibrant spice blend and comes off the stove sweet, savory and crunchy with a hint of spice. This recipe features our new Global Blends Harissa Seasoning.

Prep

  1. Heat oil in a saucepot over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until translucent. Add garlic and cook, stirring until fragrant.
  2. Add Harissa seasoning, salt and rice. Stir until seasoning is evenly distributed and the rice grains are coated in oil.
  3. Add stock and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer until rice is cooked through and liquid is fully absorbed. Allow to rest for 5 minutes covered.
  4. Fluff rice with fork and fold in pistachios, almonds, raisins and dried cranberries. Serve warm as a side dish.
