Cattlemen's® Kansas City Classic® BBQ Sauce combined with onions, blueberries, brown sugar and balsamic vinegar.

  1. In a heavy bottom pot over medium heat add butter and onions. Sauté until translucent. Add blueberries and brown sugar and cook until blueberries start to break down. Cool.
  2. In a blender combine blueberry mixture, balsamic glaze, and BBQ sauce. Hold hot for service or refrigerate and reheat for service.

CHEF’s TIP!

Try this recipe by substituting peaches, black berries or mango. Consider using fruit jams or preserves in place of the fresh fruit and sugar.
