Prep Instructions:
Lawry's® Mexican Rice Seasoning Mix is easy to prepare. Follow these kitchen-simple steps:
1. Lightly brown 2 quarts rice* in 1 cup salad oil.
2. Add 1 package mix and 1 gallon water; blend thoroughly.
3. Bring to a boil, simmer (covered) 25-30 minutes.
*If using parboiled rice, omit browning step.
Yield: Approximately 1 ¾ gallons

Storage:
To maintain the freshest flavor and color, Lawry's® Mexican Rice Seasoning Mix should be stored in a cool, dry place away from exposure to heat, humidity, moisture, direct sunlight and fluorescent light. Unopened Lawry's® Mexican Rice Seasoning Mix packages are shelf stable and can be held for use for up to 720 days.
