Chipotle BBQ Chimichurri

Chipotle BBQ sauce infused with fresh herbs and lemon to create a barbecue chimichurri.

Ingredients

Serves 1 quart
2 cups Cattlemens Chipotle BBQ Sauce
1 cup Cilantro, finely chopped
1 cup Parsley, finely chopped
1/2 cup Lemon Juice, fresh
1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 tsps Garlic, minced

Procedure

In a small bowl mix together parsley, cilantro, oregano, Chipotle BBQ Sauce, olive oil, water, and garlic until well blended.
Hold refrigerated for service. Do not hold more than one day.

Chef's Tip!

The fresh herbs in this recipe will brown if held too long. To make ahead, combine all ingredients aside from herbs. Add herbs just prior to service to preserve freshness.
